Great Band and Show... continued venue gouging!
Blackberry Smoke demonstrated their appreciation for their fans. They did not seem to be in a hurry and made time to jam with the opening acts at the end of their set. They played a variety of songs and kept the visuals and sound streaming through the venue. Speaking of the venue... there is no doubt it is a great place to see a show and I have come to expect the usual gouging of drink and food prices. However, when a venue requires you to drink a double in order to have a "tall" glass (cup)... it is not only gouging, but also irresponsible. I enjoy drinking tall drinks to limit the amount of alcohol I consume prior to driving home to SHERMAN... nearly 1.5 hours away. To be required to drink a certain amount of alcohol to mixers determined by the venue as opposed to the consumer is unacceptable. If I was to be drunk, I would certainly sue due to the venue's requirement.
